Jimmy, I tried 3 times to answer your question on that thread. But it wouldn't let me for some reason. Kept throwing my answer into the cyber dump.
Let me see if this will work.
Answer--yes I use the StewMac jig for gluing up wood bindings and purflings. The teflon helps resist instant bond to the jig. Even so, as a precaution, I use a strip of masking tape where the binding slides, so that when it clogs, I can just replace the tape.
